Tete a tete time

My desk clock had two horns,
It tiringed hard!
At five in the morn,
I reluctantly took it in my hand.

My attention lasted a second,
As the four hands worked hard,
Days in and nights out!
At some point,
It gave up ! Time stopped.

My time needed fixing!
It ticked again,
Tick tok on it went
Watching me waste it.
Ephemeral as it is,
Yet not too trivial when passed.

On a gloomy evening,
It captured me, in a Pi.
Seconds rolled it circumference,
As minutes passed.
It went slower on my notice.

As if it were shy,
Longing my arrival
The hands reached out,
“You are  precious, friend!”
they said-take notice,
make time !
